Robert Steedman is one of Portsmouth's favorite artists and teachers. His landscape and marine watercolors are sold in fine galleries in New England, Michigan and Florida. His memberships include the New England Watercolor Society, the Northshore Arts Association, the American Artist Professional League, and the Hudson Valley Art Association. Mr . Steedman has received many national awards for his work. The 1999 "100 Arts for the Parks" Top 100 Competition selected his painting entry as one of the top 100 images of 1999 in the country out of 1700+ entrants. He was also showcased in International Artist Magazine, as one of the United States Prominent watercolor artists.
